Stories of the Wild Heart
A storytelling project that honors the rupture
and the slow return to belonging
through body, land, and lineage.
Something ancient fractured within us.
A tear opened between our bodies and the body of the Earth
a heartbreak older than our names.
We crossed oceans, borders, and thresholds,
carrying only what could fit inside bone and memory.
Survival demanded distance. Modernity demanded silence.
And the Earth, our original elder,
faded into background, and we forgot how to listen.
Yet heartbreak is also a doorway.
This is for those whose hearts have split open
and found, in the fracture, a pulse of the wild returning.
For those learning to listen again
to wind and birdsong, to a knocking beneath their feet,
to the wisdom carried in scars and lineage.
If your heart has ever broken
under the weight of being human,
you are already on the path home.
With “Stories of the Wild Heart”
I’m committed to capturing the stories of that rupture—
the migrations, the severance, the forgetting…
just as much as the brave, trembling ways
we find our way back into belonging.
Stories of the Wild Heart is a collaborative photography and storytelling project. Together we create a space where your story can unfold through your body, the land, and our shared conversation.
We’ll move with curiosity and care: arriving with embodiment, exploring place, and letting gestures, voice, and presence reveal what wants to be remembered. We go slow & listen.
Some images and excerpts from your story may become part of a growing public archive— honoring the arc of our lived journeys and weaving a community of brave and vulnerable hearts across the world.
Always free to participate.
Your readiness is the only requirement.
Your heart leads the way.
What to Expect
