RESIDENCY PATHWAYS:

Casa Crisálida offers several residency pathways, each designed to support different rhythms of creative incubation, solitude, and accompaniment. All pathways take place within a living home and are oriented toward early-stage development, creative unblocking, and gentle emergence, rather than production or output-driven work.

Residencies range from 5 days to 5 weeks.

Self-Guided Residency

Private stay · Independent process

This pathway is for artists who need solitude, spaciousness, and privacy to enter their own rhythm. You will have the home to yourself and full autonomy over your days.

The Self-Guided Residency is well suited for:

  • writers and composers working independently

  • artists in a phase of listening, reflection, or reset

  • those who already have a strong inner structure for their process

This pathway offers time, quiet, and room to soften — a chrysalis held by land and place, rather than by facilitation.

Partially Guided Residency

Shared home · Light accompaniment

This pathway offers a balance between independence and relational support. You will share the home with the host and receive gentle, periodic check-ins to support reflection, clarity, and integration.

The Partially Guided Residency is ideal for:

  • artists navigating a creative threshold or transition

  • those who benefit from mirroring without direction

  • projects in an editing, re-shaping, or early forming stage

Guidance is spacious and responsive, allowing your process to lead.

Fully Guided Residency

Shared home · 1:1 accompaniment

This pathway offers deeper presence and intentional support throughout your stay. Alongside sharing the home, you’ll receive regular one-on-one sessions oriented toward creative process, embodied listening, and nature-based reflection.

The Fully Guided Residency is well suited for:

  • artists experiencing creative block or disorientation

  • those seeking a held container for personal and creative transition

  • individuals who want accompaniment through a sensitive or liminal phase

This is not a productivity-focused structure, but a supportive chrysalis for transformation and clarity.

Here, nature is not a backdrop.
She is an essential collaborator & advisor.
The mountain, the weather, the soil, & the more-than-human community
are all active participants in the creative process.
Ideas are not extracted from the land,
they emerge in conversation with it.

The name comes from the chrysalis—

the stage of metamorphosis where old forms dissolve and new organs of perception grow.

Casa Crisálida supports artists in that same phase:
the fertile middle, the threshold,
where a concept, a project, or a person
is ready to evolve into their mythopoetic identity.

A quiet sanctuary for deep work.

Casa Crisálida offers an environment where attention can deepen:
natural light, mountain air, silence when needed,
and shared warmth when ideas are ready to be spoken.

Spaces include:
• A home nested in pine forest
• Work areas open to nature
• A veggie and flower garden
• Nearby trails, rivers, & rural communities.

The home is located within the secure eco-luxury mountain project— Constanza Hills.

Everything here is designed to support clarity, creativity & care.

THE SPACE

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Casa Crisálida is for artists who long for:
• A deeper encounter with their work
• A spacious relationship with time
• A place where intuition & intellect collaborate
• A home that nourishes both focus & restoration

• A deeper connection with the Earth
• A creative journey that strengthens their mythopoetic identity

If your practice is asking you to shift, the chrysalis is open.

  • No.

Casa Crisálida is not a production residency and does not function as a professional art studio.

The space is not equipped for:

    • large-scale fabrication
